about our ON-SITE WORKSHOPS
Registration is OPEN for Fall session soap making, bath bomb and candle workshops. Held after school 3:45-5pm on various Tuesdays and Thursdays at Shorewood High School and Atwater Elementary.
Soap Making
Each participant will create 3 custom melt and pour soaps in a variety of fun shapes. Soaps are made with an aloe and shea butter glycerin soap base and we use paraben-free and pthalate-free fragrance oils and eco-friendly biodegradable micas and glitters. Soaps will be brought home in reusable clamshell molds to store until they are ready to use.
Bath Bombs
Each participant will create 3 bath bombs made with cosmetic grade, skin-safe ingredients. We use paraben-free and pthalate-free fragrance oils and eco-friendly biodegradable micas and glitters. Main ingredients include baking soda, citric acid and corn starch which is what causes the fizzing action in water. *Please consider this if you have sensitive skin. Bath bombs will be brought home in reusable clamshell containers to store until they are ready to use. Makes a great gift!
These workshops are selling out FAST! If a class is booked, please join the wait list or sign up next session - we'll be hosting many more workshops in the future, and at other Milwaukee area locations. You can sign up on the Shorewood Recreation Department website by clicking the sign up button and search either candles, bath bombs or soap in the course search bar.
